- I've had this problem for a while and its only annoyed me
- recently when I was installing Linux because I was rebooting
- very often.
-
- Here is the problem:
- It all started when I upgarded my GVP 1230 40/noFPU/4 to
- 50/50/4.
-
- After the machine was on for a while and I tryed to reboot I
- couldn't. The machine would just sit there with a black screen.
- The drive did not click or anything. I had to shut off the machine
- for about 15 mins to be able to reboot.
-
- Now if I take the 50MHz
- clock out and replace it with 25MHz clock everything is fine
- (ie it reboots always). I've tryed putting fans (yes fans
- one next to the floppy and one right above the 030 50MHz not overclocked)
-
- Has anyone had this problem and solved it?
- Anyone have any suggestions?
-
- Thanks,
- Sophocles
